Alter Eco Chocolate Bars:

My Findings: Each one of Alter Eco chocolate bars had such a unique taste to them. All of their chocolate bars are dark chocolate, so that is a added benefit to them.  A few chocolate bars that caught me be by surprise, flavourwise, were the Dark Coconut Toffee Chocolate Bar and Dark Quinoa Chocolate Bar. Both bars were really yummy and not what I expected. My all-time favorite chocolate bar was the Dark Velvet Chocolate Bar. This chocolate bar was so rich and smooth that I finished it all in one sitting. My fiance loved the Dark Mint Chocolate Bar the best, he loves anything with mint in it. These chocolate bars are sure to take care of all of chocolate cravings, and are simply divine!

About Alter Eco:

Alter Eco co-founders, Tristan Lecomte in France, Mathieu Senard and Edouard Rollet in the United States and Ilse Keijzer in Australia are businessmen by training and activists at heart. Before starting Alter Eco over a decade ago, they had experienced first-hand both profit-driven multinationals and on-the-ground NGOs. Seeing the challenges of existing humanitarian aid efforts, they became pioneers in social entrepreneurialism, wielding their business acumen to fight for social and economic justice.

We believe that a more equitable form of economic development is a necessary and viable alternative to conventional commerce. This business model, which successfully produces higher quality products by virtue of direct trade, will gradually close the gap between rich and poor, so-called developing countries and industrialized countries.

How are Products Chosen for Alter Eco?

Unbelievably rich, unctuous chocolate bars and ancient, heirloom quinoas from Bolivia, exotic jasmine rices from Thailand, and unrefined Mascabado sugar from the Philippines. All our products are organic, fair trade and carbon neutral, so you can eat them with confidence in their nutritional, social and environmental excellence

I would like thank Alter Eco for giving me the opportunity to review their Chocolate Bars .
