I want to wish all of my fellow Canucks a Happy Canada Day, and a Happy 145th Birthday to Canada!

I also posted a picture of my adorable fur baby daughter Priscilla wearing her Canada Day shirt and showing her love for her Country.

I also included five facts about Canada for everyone to read.

1) Canada has the second largest mall in the world called “West Edmonton Mall”.
2) Not all Canadians live in igloo’s! LOL
3) Canadians love their HOCKEY and Canada won the gold medal at the 2010 Olympics.
4) Canada is the second largest Country in the world.
5) All of the Canadian Provinces & Territories experience all four seasons Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

Pamper Me Organically: Soaps, Bath Melts, Floral Water Skin Tonic, Eye and Face Cream, Aromatherapy Oils, Lip Balm and Skin Nourishing Facial Serum Review.

I was so excited to have the opportunity to review Pamper Me Organically products. Pamper me Organically offers a wide selection of Organic skincare, soaps, aromatherapy oils, soy candles, organic lip balm, bath melts, and wellness oils. When Pamper Me Organically products arrived, I could not believe my eyes, everything came in a nice eco-friendly box and smelled just wonderful. I felt like a princess at a spa with what I was given to review. Stick around, and I’ll tell you all about them!

My Findings Of Cypress & Cedar Wood – Call of the Wild Bath Melt: Call of the Wild Bath Melt reminded me of being in the outdoors and smelling all of the wonderful scents that the outdoors have to offer. Call of the Wild Bath Melt really foamed in my bath water and is even better than regular bath melts and does not have the added chemicals that the regular bath melts you buy in the store has. If you want a nice relaxing evening with your loved one Call of the Wild Bath Melt is the perfect scent for any “manly” man out there he will feel like he just came in from the great out doors.

My Findings Of Ylang Ylang & Grapefruit- California Dreaming Soap: California Dreaming Soap smells wonderful with the wonderful scents of Ylang Ylang & Grapefruit. I love the scent of grapefruit and it this soap has just the right amount of scent of grapefruit. I also love how the scent Ylang Ylang complemented the grapefruit so nicely. This soap also has Shea Butter and moisturizers your skin leaving it nice and soft after your bath or shower with you smelling wonderful.

My Findings Of Peppermint & Spearmint- Cool Waters Soap: I love the smell of Peppermint & Spearmint together and Cool Waters Soap combined these two scents perfectly. Cool Waters Soap is a very refreshing soap that will awake your senses and have your smelling wonderful and your kitty will love the smell of you as well. I have to laugh, my one fur baby just loves the smell of Peppermint & Spearmint, and she could not get enough of smelling me.

My Findings Of Glacial Springs Soap: Glacial Springs Soap smells sooo wonderful. I had to fight my fiancé for this soap he loved it so much, I ended up throwing the bath tub puff at him just so I could try it out. LOL… Ladies your husband will love Glacial Springs Soap and this soap would make the perfect Father’s Day or Birthday gift for him. Glacial Springs Soap ingredients: Peppermint & Eucalyptus and Glacial Springs Soap is enriched with moisturizing shea butter and a magical infusion of organic herbs and essential oils.

My Findings Of Chamomile Ginger- Facial Mud: I loved the Chamomile Ginger- Facial Mud. I used this one night while I was relaxing in my bath and I could really feel the mud working on my pours. I’m not really a fan of facial muds, but I am now. You will be surprised at how soft and clean your skin feels after you have used Chamomile Ginger- Facial Mud. Oh and the smell is wonderful as well you will be feeling like your at a local spa when really you are in your own bath tub at home.

My Findings Of Air Element- Aromatherapy Home Scent: I love aromatherapy oils and the Air Element oil from Pamper Me Organically smelled wonderful. My whole house smelled amazing and I did not find that the oil died down with smell. I know some oils I add to my diffuser stop working after about an hour, I found the Air Element oil held its smell. This oil has smells of Ylang Ylang, Sweet Orange, Bergamot, Magnolia and Neroli. You can really smell of Orange in this oil and it really picks up your energy.

My Findings Of The Pinery- Aromatherapy Home Scent: The Pinery- Aromatherapy Home Scent reminds me of going for a walk in the forest in behind my house. This is a wonderful scent to use during the holiday season and smells amazing. The Pinery- Aromatherapy Home Scent has the scents of Fir Needle, Vetiver and Weeping Cypress. You only need a little of this oil in your diffuser as it has a pretty powerful smell and my be to overpowering for a small room.

My Findings Of Tunisian Neroli- Eye and Face Cream: I use Tunisian Neroli- Eye and Face Cream every night on my face and I love it. Tunisian Neroli- Eye and Face Cream is a nice rich cream that smells heavenly. This face cream will coat your face nicely and it will leave your face soft and silky all night and you will also notice how soft your face will be in the morning as well. Tunisian Neroli- Eye and Face Cream ingredients: She butter,evening primrose oil, meadow foam,  grapeseed oil,  jojoba oil, virgin coconut oil, beeswax, vitamin e oil, essential oils of neroli, carrot seed, frankincense, vetiver & orange, rosemary extract.

My Findings Of Petitgrain- Floral Water Skin Tonic: Petitgrain- Floral Water Skin Tonic is an awesome way to refresh your skin. Sometimes my skin has a tendency to become dry and flaky I just spray on Petitgrain- Floral Water Skin Tonic and right away I notice that my skin has a nice glow to it. The only thing that I did not like about the Petitgrain- Floral Water Skin Tonic was the smell, I’m more of a Lavender girl. *smile*

My Findings Of Himalayan Lavender- Skin Nourishing Facial Serum: I love Skin Nourishing Facial Serum, I use it every second day on my face. My face feels so soft and it gives my face a nice soft red glow when I use it. I also have been finding that my skin feels tighter and is a lot more oily. I also love the scent of the Skin Nourishing Facial Serum. The ingredients in the Skin Nourishing Facial Serum are all Organic oils of sweet almond, camellia, sunflower, evening primrose, meadow foam, shea butter and pomegranate, essential oils of lavender, magnolia, orange, vetiver, frankincense and patchouli.

My Findings Of Natural- Organic Lip Balm: Natural- Organic Lip Balm is amazing! I love this lip balm, I use it every day on my lips and I find that my lips are silky smooth. Natural- Organic Lip Balm also gives your lips a nice sheen to them.

If you are drinking diet sodas, sugar free gum, than chances are you are consuming Aspartame. Aspartame is a synthetic chemical combination which is comprised of approximately 50% phenylalanine, 40% aspartic acid, and 10% methanol.

These sweeteners contain Aspartame: NutraSweet, Equal, Sweet One and Spoonful. Aspartame is found in thousands of foods, drinks, candy, drinking powders, cereals, cooking sauces and in almost every chewing gum out there (even those that are ALREADY sweetened with SUGAR! – WHY?????).

Alternative sweeteners I use to sweeten my favorite foods.

Two natural sugar-free alternative sweeteners are Xylitol, and Brazilian Stevia Leaf (Not Truvia). From my personal experience, and from reading of various studies out there, Stevia and Xylitol are not linked to harmful side effects like headaches, dizziness, fatigue, neurological damage, and the 87 other related symptoms that Aspartame is reported to be linked to. To be safe, I simply avoid all “diet foods” laced with Aspartame, and ALL other synthetic man made chemicals and sweeteners. I also moderate my sugar intake, and make lots of my own treats (and baking) with Stevia as a sweetener.

It starts with one step at a time, and believe me I know, because I once was addicted to all sugar-free products that were out there, but I stopped and now I feel better than ever.

Simply 7 Snacks: Flavored Hummus & Lentil Chips Review

So, I confess, ..I’m a huge snack fan. I just love to sit down about an hour or two after dinner and have my evening snack. I have a snack every night without fail, and I found Simply 7 Snacks were the prefect snack to satisfy my after dinner munchies. Simply 7 Snacks come in 6 unique flavors, and are made of Hummus (chick pea), or Lentil, and were absolutely delicious. MMMMMM….. Licking my Lips! ..Continue on and find out which flavor I found to be the best!

Simply 7 Snacks are all natural and have no Artificial Colors or Flavors, No Additives or Preservative, Gluten Free Ingredients witch is a bonus for me and they all so have No Trans Fat, and No Cholesterol.  Most importantly are they are GMO Free! (*Doing happy dance*) Simply 7 Snacks are the perfect snack for anyone who does not like eating chemicals in their snacks and are looking for a healthy alternative. I’m really happy that I had a chance to review Simply 7 Snacks.

My Findings Of Hummus Sea Salt: MMMMMMM…. Sea Salt Hummus snacks are nice light snack that tasted wonderful. These hummus snacks did not taste overpowering with sea salt as I thought they would. I could not stop eating the Sea Salt snacks, they reminded me of Pringles, once you eat one you can’t stop.

My Findings Of Hummus Tomato Basil: Tomato Basil Hummus snacks tasted nice and had a nice crispy touch to them. You could really taste the tomatoes flavor and the hint of basil. Very Yummy!

My Findings Of Hummus Spicy Chili Pepper: Oh WOW!! If you like spicy chili on any snack, then these are the snacks for you. I personally did not like these snacks. They were way to spicy for wimpy me. I know I’m a whuss, but my fiancé loved them and ended up finishing the whole bag.

My Findings Of Lentil Sea Salt: Lentil Sea Salt are a light tasting snack without all the sea salt added to them. I however wish there would have been more sea salt on the Lentil Sea Salt snacks.

My Findings Of Lentil Creamy Dill: I did not mind the Lentil Creamy Dill snacks. I thought they were very light tasting, I just wish they would have had a little more dill flavor to them.

My Findings Of Lentil Bruschetta: I never knew Lentil snacks could taste so good. I loved Lentil Bruschetta snacks, the taste was not too overpowering and you could taste the bruschetta flavor nicely.

***** MY FAVORITE : Overall, the snacks made of Hummus were the best. Of the Hummus snacks, I found the “Sea Salt” to be my favorite flavor out all of the Simply 7 Snacks that I tried. They were just Divine!! I need another bag …quick!!

Happy Monday Everyone,

I thought this would brighten everyone’s Monday, by showing you my beautiful Peach Rose named “Brandy” and yes that really is the name of this rose bush.

Roses are my favorite flower, I can not get enough of them. I have three other rose bushes that are ready to bloom any day now and I will post pictures of my Red Rose Bush called “The Imperial,” my Pink Rose Bush called “Rosa,” and my Black Rose Bush called the “Black Baccara” when they do.

Here is a close up of my Peach Rose. I just planted this rose bush two months ago and I already have a rose and another rose getting ready to bloom.

Kate, The Blog Diva’s Review Of “When Harry Met Molly” By Kieran Kramer  (5 Stars Out of 5)

“When Harry Met Molly” is a delightful read that will leave you smiling. I enjoyed this book so much that I wish the book didn’t have to end. My fingers could not turn the pages quick enough through this wonderful book. “When Harry Met Molly” is the debut book in Kieran Kramer’s new series called “The Impossible Bachelors”.

Harry and his friends are part a group called “The Impossible Bachelors”. Once a year the bachelors meet with their mistress and compete and see who’s mistress will be Most Delectable. The bachelor that wins, will secure bachelor status of being single and it will save him another year of having to get married.

Harry’s mistress Fiona decides to run off with Molly’s finance leaving Molly to find her own way home, and Harry without a mistress. Seeing that Molly is stuck at a pub with no way home, Harry proposes and idea to Molly that he will take her home if she decides to pose as Harry’s mistress for one week. She must help him win another year of freedom from being married. Harry and Molly must act like a couple and put their anger aside letting the past be the past. Fireworks are about to ignite with passion for Harry and Molly. Will they be able to keep their feelings for each other at bay, or will they fall in love? When I received the pendent,  I could not believe how pretty it really was. The cord will last you a long time unlike the rope necklaces where they dissolve after time. My Findings Of Glass Peace- Flower Glass Focal Bead Pendant: The beautiful Flower Glass Focal Bead pendant that I decided to review has a blue little flower in it with a hint of purple. I love the colors of the flower in my pendant, and the glass is very clear with no bubbles or scratches in the glass. This pendant is the perfect gift for your loved one and it can go with any Spring or Summer dress. I’m very happy with my pendant, and I will be wearing it with my Summer dresses and showing it off to all my family and friends. My mom saw my pendant and made a comment on how pretty is was.

Glassblowing is an amazing experience—one that can be meditative. Working with glass and fire often leads us to reflect on the world today—how circumstances and misconceptions so often lead to conflict, and how open-mindedness and understanding can help achieve peace. Creating glass art is very similar to forging peace: both are labor-intensive but result in something beautiful, and both are delicate and easily broken—and therefore, must be treasured and protected. From this concept came the name “Glass Peace.”

Ours is primarily a lampworking studio, which means that most of our work is created by using a torch to manipulate a very durable, shock resistant glass called borosilicate (commonly known as Pyrex™).  Using different sized rods and tubes of clear and colored glass, we create our one-of-a-kind lampwork glass pendants, earrings, and beads, then place the pieces in a computerized kiln to anneal them, which removes any stresses in the glass, ensuring a beautiful and durable piece that you will enjoy for a lifetime.

How are your Glass Flower Pendants made?

Formed in the flame of a torch, these glass pendants are formed by first heating the end of a clear glass rod in the flame and flattening the end to create a disc. The flower design is drawn with small rods of colored glass called stringers, then heated and blended.  We then quickly spin the glass in the flame, being sure to hold it level and evenly.

As the flower design is heated, blended, and flattened, it is gradually pushed up into the clear glass, creating a 3-D flower pattern.  After adding a loop and checking the pendant for any imperfections, we place it in a kiln with a computerized controller where it will anneal, removing any stresses in the glass to ensure a strong, durable piece that you can hand down for generations.

Welcome to my blog. I’m glad you came. =-) I have complied a mini bio about myself for you.

I’m a down to earth girl who loves life and wants to share my thoughts with all of you. I’m from the beautiful country of Canada. I also consider myself a huge movie buff. I love just about every kind of movie, for except very scary movies and Westerns. There is nothing better than curling up on the couch and watching a good movie. I like to lose myself in the movie and picture myself as the main character, it helps me to remember the movie better. I also LOVE video games! My favorite game is Halo. I have played through Halo 1, 2, and 3 start to finish more times than I can count. lol .. Nothing like kicking some Covenant ass! Last but not least, I love watching hockey. I’m a huge hockey fan, When I’m not reading and watching hockey, I love to workout and keep myself looking good. I love to dress in sexy clothes and look like a diva. I’m also a huge nut for shoes and purses, I have so many shoes and purses and I switch up my purses every month so I can use them all. I also love the color pink. I have almost everything I own in pink. I like dressing my kitty up in clothes a well. I like to dress her in cute outfits and even push her around in her pet stroller during the Summer months. I like to eat healthy, and I try to eat organic food as much as I can. I also try and use natural products in my house as well. I’m also a bit of a bargain hunter, I’m not one for spending a lot of money on clothes and other stuff, I like to shop at thrift stores. You can always find some nice clothes there and for half of what you would pay for in a retail store. *wink*
